Rob Scheer's Inspiring Journey from the Streets to the Board Room... Rob is the Founder & CEO of Comfort Cases, a local charitable organization that IREM Community Action Teams proudly supports. Comfort Cases Mission: to inspire communities to bring dignity and hope to youth in foster care through Comfort, Community, Character, and Compassion.
At any given time, there are approximately 437,000 youth in foster care in the United States. Over forty years ago, Rob entered foster care, eventually aged out of the system at 18 and became homeless, with nothing but a trash bag with his life's possessions. Rob will share his inspiring story and the lessons he learned about overcoming adversity and believing in yourself to achieve your highest potential. Through his own story of overcoming adversity, Rob will motivate you to care about the struggles of others and to take action to help alleviate their suffering. We are all connected as a global community, and it is not only our responsibility, but our privilege to give back to those in need.
